According to the RA Ministry of Nature Protection, during the process of inspection visits, admitting process of inspection affairs and reports handed over the proceedings of the inspection in the period of 11-15.05.2015, the State Environmental Inspectorate’s regional departments detected illegal logging violations and violations of the norms of atmospheric air protection, water protection norms, norms of mineral resources conservation, soil conservation norms and illegal hunting violations in the different regions of Armenia. Decisions on administrative penalties were made towards the physical entities (or enterprises) who carried out the violations, the damage caused to the environment was estimated and, in general, during the reporting period of the sanctions imposed, 3.1 million AMD entered the state budget.
