Greenpeace informs us about rainforest destructions in Indonesia by palm oil companies. The IOI company has spent almost 10 years destroying the rainforest, disturbing local people and endangering orangutans. Every year ferocious forest fires sweep across their country. As a result, Indonesia has lost 1/4 of its rainforest in the last 25 years, yet IOI continue to destroy it in their desperate drive for palm oil. Haze from these fires is already drifting across to Singapore, Malaysia and other countries in Southeast Asia. Greenpeace calls for action to sign a petition to let them know that this is a worldwide movement they can’t hide from.
