International Atomic Energy Agency Delegation at the RA President’s Office
As the official website of the president of Armenia informs, RA president Armen Sarkissian received the delegation led by Yukia Amanoy, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
During the meeting president Sarkissian has mentioned that the safe use of the atomic energy has been and continues to be an important priority for Armenia. The president has expressed his gratitude to the International Atomic Energy Agency for the continuous support.
The parties have exchanged ideas on the possible projects, agreed to further continue and deepen the bilateral effective cooperation encompassing new spheres, particularly medicine and health care.
Considering Armenia’s huge scientific potential the parties have emphasized that the cooperation can also include such areas as new technologies and artificial intelligence.
