The trash bins will be placed in Yerevan streets and yards in a few days, significantly reducing the problem of garbage collection.
Around 2200 trash bins are expected till mid-August, and another 2200 till mid-September.
The problem of garbage collection in our city is not only because of the lack of garbage trucks, but also a small number of trash bins. Yerevan needs 6000-8000 trash bins for proper waste management, but we actually have 4000, 70% of which are in poor condition.
In a few weeks, the unpleasant situation with garbage collection will be in the past thanks to these new trash bins imported from Poland.
