Info.com reports that the owner of Lichk Copper Mine, Tatstone Company, is directly connected with Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine. The plant extracted at various sites and then left the area. It is unknown how much ore was extracted from Lichk.
As a result of the anarchy of the former administration, the Lichk mine was illegally exploited with no water use permit. Hundreds of pieces of oak and hornbeam have not been replaced. The staff working in the mine wasn’t registered; the employees actually belonged to ZCMC LLC.
