The Armenian government has posted a video on its Facebook page about a 14-year-old Mikael, who has cleared a part of Gyumri\’s Bus Station\’s garbage dump. There was a lot of work to do, and Michael together with his friends cleaned the area, showing the residents that we should think about the environment ourselves. 50-60 bags of household waste were collected. Now it\’s a clean tree area instead of a dump.
Now Michael returns to the cleaned area and controls it, however finds trash in the cleaned areas. According to him, the important thing is consciousness. When people understand that they are polluting their home, they will no longer do so. Michael is surprised to see why it is impossible to do a few more steps and throw garbage in the trash.
