On August 27, Armenian Progressive Youth has organized a seminar discussion called \”Waste management in Armenia\”. After the seminar (language- Armenian), 2 webinars (language- English) on climate change will be held. The seminar is organized within the frames of Eastern Partnership Civil Society Facility Fellowship at Parigi hall, DoubleTree by Hilton Yerevan, from 16:00 till 19:00.
The goals of the seminar are:
● To increase the
literacy about waste management and about the importance of the issue among the
young initiators of Armenia.
● To include waste
management in the activities of Civil Society Organizations and Educational
Institutions.
● To help the
communities self-organize and take steps for addressing the issue.
● To make the
community activities as a ground for the advocacy campaigns.
The seminar is for
students, social activists, NGO and student council representatives and anyone
who is interested.
The aim of the
event is to provide the students with multicultural and diverse approaches
regarding the topic and its urgency.
